Birthday weekend in Brussels

Welcome back at Imagination-Fly.com!!! Another blog post of our page IS ON!

And… can you imagine?? Oh yes, i did it, guys!!! I booked a weekend full board trip to Brussels from Dublin for my honey! Vasos had his birthday on July, so i wanted to offer something really special to him…

OK i have to say, it was very tiring, but at the same time we had a fantastic time over there. You are the lucky ones now… I will let you know everything!!!!

I tried my best in that trip to make Vasilis happy as it was his birthday! So, i booked a lot of experience trips that i found really interesting, and i was sure that he was going to love them! Below you will see what i mean as i am going to share with you our experiences and unforgettable moments.

First of all we have visited the very famous and TripAdvisor Awarded Pairi Daiza. OK that was amazing. A place on earth that i think everyone should visit! It has been awarded as the best Europe Zoo from DTPA 2018, and it has been awarded with the certificate of excellence for 2017 from TripAdvisor as well as Michelin Green Guide for 2018. As you can understand a multi-awarded place which we couldn’t miss!

Actually, it was one place with several towns. What do i mean by that? In this beautiful place, you could visit Europe, Asia, America at the same time! There were sections with different decorations and the specific animals for each site! So for example in Australia, we had the Koalas, or in Asia, we had elephants etc.

I was so excited that day, and I couldn’t believe that we had discovered such a beautiful place and especially in Europe! It was like every hour we were visiting another country at all! Everything was changing, even the floor while we were walking around. We had the most amazing time and for sure was one of my favourite places on earth and best experience ever!

I have to mention also that everywhere you could see free animals as well as rivers and lakes. Oh, that was amazing…

I have to say that it was also a perfect spot for pictures of course! :p All of us wants to have some beautiful photos with amazing landscapes aren’t we??

Here i decided to play the role of the model for a while.. 🙂 OK, but i couldn’t resist!

We spent a lot of time walking and climbing, but it does worth it!

Now the next time I had another crazy experience for Vasos! He is MAD with those adventure parks were there is scary games around and a lot of roller coasters that brings your adrenaline on top!

And he was so happy…

So, i didn’t want to miss this one as well!! I choose one of the best adventure parks in Belgium, and i can tell you guys that the price was perfect again and it worth it. It was Walibi Adventure Park. We had to travel for 2 hours, so we have spent all day long there doing amazing games that keep your heart bits on top!

We had some more relaxing and fun stuff as well…

Yeah, that made us happy! 🙂

The craziness of course, always on top! Due to the high temperatures and the running here and there within the park, they had some lovely cute spots where you could get a refreshing sweet drink. In Cyprus we usually called this drink ”Granita”, and it is a pleasure have it within summer time…

I have to say that all of the games were scary at the same time but you know that feeling where you want to see everything and gain this experience. So my curiosity and excitement was higher than my fear most of the times.

We visited also the Mini Europe. A really famous attraction in Belgium with the Atomium.

There you can enjoy the park as well as to get an idea of the spirit of Europe. There were also a few activities that unfortunately we didn’t have the time to go through as we had to travel the same day back home.

We also visited the city centre of Brussels as well but to be honest with you guys I didn’t  like it. It seems really noisy and dirty to me without anything special. So I didn’t take any photos!! ahahah

We had just a wonderful time there…

For sure an unforgettable trip forever… and worth it, with only a few expenses.

So yeah, that was our weekend-short trip! We had enjoyed a lot but guess what? The next day we couldn’t move so we stayed home 😛 Nice opportunity to relax a bit after such a tiring and full of adrenaline trip!

I totally recommend those places. It was a fantastic and unforgettable experience, that will always remain in our hearts…
