Oats are a versatile beauty ingredient that can fight a whole range of skincare issues. It is rich in antioxidants, can help reduce inflammation, gently exfoliate and cleanse the skin by absorbing impurities and sebum. You can, therefore, incorporate oats into your routine for almost any reason! Do you have sensitive, oily skin? Do you feel your skin dry in winter? Oats can also help with hydration! Coconut face mask and oatmeal for dry skin
Irritated skin can cause redness and is often accompanied by dry areas on the skin. This soothing mask not only treats inflammation but also restores hydration. It is prepared hot and cools down gently on the skin while you relax.
     -1/4 cup hot water
     -1/2 cup oatmeal
     -1 tablespoon melted coconut oil
Mix the ingredients gently in a bowl, forming a paste and apply on face and neck. You can control the texture of the mask by reducing or adding more water. After applying it, let it sit on the face for 10-15 minutes and then rinse with warm water.

Mask with yogurt & oat flakes for sensitive skin
If you are looking for a face mask ideal for sensitive skin, this two-component mask has a soothing and anti-inflammatory effect! Important: Make sure the oats are not flavoured or contain any additives. Oats are a key ingredient in cosmetics for sensitive skin, and can even to be used in eczema.
    -1/3 cup oats
    -2 tablespoons yogurt
Mix the oats (after they have been cooked) with the yogurt. Apply a thick layer with your fingers, leave it for 10 minutes and then rinse with lukewarm water. You can then use a moisturizer or serum.

Egg white mask & oatmeal for oily skin
Egg white is often used in masks to tighten and tone the skin. The ground oats absorb sebum and exfoliate dead skin that can clog the pores. Add a little honey to the mask to enjoy all the healing benefits of honey on your skin.
     -1 egg white
     -1 teaspoon honey
     -Oatmeal
Mix the egg white and honey and make sure they combine well. Add the oatmeal until you create a paste. Apply on the face (avoid eyes) by gently massaging the skin. Leave the mask on your face for 10 minutes and remove with warm water.

Apple cider vinegar & Oatmeal flakes
For exfoliation, Apple cider vinegar offers gentle exfoliation on all skin types. This combination of oats and apple cider vinegar helps to remove excess sebum and remove dead skin cells that may settle on the surface of the skin.
     -1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
     -1/4 cup oatmeal
     -1/4 cup hot water
Mix the ingredients together in a small bowl and apply on face and neck. Leave it for 5 minutes and remove with a warm towel.
